You ''must'' specialize in one of the areas listed under [[Electronics Operation]], or in Computers (Electronics Repair (Computers) defaults to [[Computer Operation]]-5). These specialties default to one another at -4.

''Modifiers:'' [[Equipment modifiers]]; -2 without plans or schematics; -2 for an unfamiliar technology or implementation (just as for [[Electronics Operation]]); -4 to modify a device away from its intended purpose.
