A mystical Finnish martial art. The skills were preserved in the Valkonen family over 30 generations. The master of this art is Kaarlo Valkonen living at Hankasalmi, Central Finland.

Practicioners learn to defend against puukko, Finnish small knife, and other techniques and weapons commonly used in Finnish brawls. A wooden puukko is used when practicing.

A crooked walking stick with a hook, called sotilasvanhus (Old Soldier) is used by older masters to trip, hook and grapple opponents.

Plenty of other weapons also appear: keihäs, kirves, miekka, sirppi (a sickle a type used in Finland to harvest grain), various thrown weapons, karttu, remmi or remeli.
