You’ve adapted armed parrying motions to the empty hand. This lets you use a Melee Weapon parry – unmodified by a weapon's Parry stat – as your unarmed parry. You’re at -3 against non-thrusting weapons and risk hand injury if you fail; see Parrying Unarmed. You must specialize by Melee Weapon skill; Unarmed Parry (Rapier) is most common, and used while wearing a mail glove. If you also want to strike, learn Boxing, Brawling, or Karate instead.
